The artist was born in 1982 in Sortland (Norway); she now lives and works in Kristiansand (Norway).

Linn pedersen’s work includes photography, collage, sculpture, and film. She mixes elements from the documentary genre and poetry, and depicts varied subjects: products that were consumed and thrown away, landscapes scenes, architectural constructions, or human figures within large installations that function according to a sedimentary system.

Her photographies, which are at the basis of her entire work, are both expressive and introverted, and examine the fine line between the banal and the extraordinary, focusing merely on the materiality and object quality of the artwork.
